Soya Soo is a music producer and audio engineer from Malaysia. He picked up piano at the age of 7, and is influenced by pop, film and video game music.

 

He holds an undergraduate degree from Berklee College of Music, where he majored in Music Production and Engineering (MP&E). In 2015, he was awarded the Don Puluse Award by the MP&E department. 

 

His experiences including worked with film composer, John Powell on Solo: A Star Wars Story & Ferdinand at 5 Cats Studio. Also, he worked with Alan Meyerson on Ralph Breaks the Internet & Aquaman. He recently worked with film composer, Hans Zimmer on Dune, The Lion King & Dark Phoenix. In addition, he toured with Hans Zimmer on Hans Zimmer Live 2022 in Europe and 2023 in Dubai as Concert Playback & Recording Engineer.

He is currently based in Los Angeles, and is focusing on film and video game music projects.
